Hello from Douglas Park Community Association!

Douglas Park Community Association is grateful to operate on the unceded, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil Waututh Nations.

DPCA is celebrating its 75th anniversary this spring. DPCA was incorporated as a society on May 21st, 1948 under the name South Cambie Community Centre Association. DPCA’s purpose under its constitution is “to provide affordable and quality facilities and programming to meet the diverse needs of the people of the Douglas Park Community and encourage community use and participation of the Douglas Park Community Centre”. Here’s to another 75 years! We look forward to celebrating with the Douglas Park community throughout the summer

DPCA has new workshops for you to try this spring including workshops in spring wreath making, dry hand tied bouquets, floral arrangements, and bookbinding (Coptic and Concertina). There’s something for everyone in this spring’s brochure.

On behalf of the board, I would like to say thank you to DPCA’s youth volunteers and to our Park Board and DPCA staff at Douglas Park. We are grateful for the energy and enthusiasm you bring to the centre and the community.

Sincerely,
Christine Coleman
President, Douglas Park Community Association
