Natural Dye & Shibori ? Tote Bag

This workshop combines 2 techniques, shibori and natural dyeing, to create a one-of-a-kind small cotton tote bag. Shibori is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique which uses rubber bands, clamps, and string to tie, pinch and fold the fabric to create patterns. The workshop also teaches how to extract colours from plants such as turmeric and madder. All material provided.
