Hula Hooping for Adults

Thursdays, May 4-June 22, 7:00 PM-8:15 PM

During the hula hoop class, you will learn basic and medium difficulty tricks, how to warm up and stretch your body for the different exercises.
Finally, we will build a choreography together! If you want to learn a new way of knowing and moving your body, let’s have fun together!

Yoga for Aging Well 55+ yrs

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this all-levels yoga class is ideal for you. Yoga can improve your flexibility, mobility, balance, bone density, and strength.

Youth Pottery 13-17 yrs

Tuesdays 3:30 PM-5:00 PM or Sundays 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Register now as spaces will fill up!

We will start with pinching, coiling, rolling soft slabs with the emphasis on functional pottery and sculpture too. We will also investigate the creative process, construction, design elements and surface decoration. Projects could be self directed. The pottery studio is an inclusive, relaxed and fun space.

JOIN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Our Board of Directors play a significant role in determining the type of programs and services we offer.
We continue to seek new Board Members and community members that would like to become involved. Participate in expanding program services, organizing events, fundraising, facility and park improvements, and addressing community needs.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors, Community Members are welcome to attend and participate in various sub-committees such as: Program, Facilities, Park Improvement/Playground, and Festival.

To be eligible to serve as a Board of Director you must:

  • Be 19+ years of age
  • Have been a member for at least one month
  • Submitted your nomination no later than 15 days before the Annual General Meeting (third Wednesday of each November)

Board Meetings occur on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, from September-June. On average, a committee requires two hours of service per month.
