Hello from the Douglas Park Community Association!

Happy 2019!

The playground is open! I would like to say a huge thank you one more time to everyone who made this project happen for our community.

Our Winter 2019 Recreation Guide features new programs such as Body Poetry (Adult), Comedy Relief (Adult/Senior), Chair Yoga (Adult/Senior), Expressive Colours (Adult), Mom & Baby Fitness (Adult), Dinnerware by Design (Pottery), Illuminate Lantern Making (Pottery), Pottery Time for Two (Pottery), Throw Big or Go Home(Pottery), Vessels and the Contained Form (Pottery), Introduction to Raku Firing Pottery (Pottery), Intermediate Indian Dance Technique (Adult), Mini Hip Hop (Children), Junior Hip Hop (Children), Sport Bonanza (Children), Steady Feet (Seniors), and The Reading Tree (Preschool).

Please make sure to join us for Monday, February 18th for our BC Family Day celebrations.

Douglas Park is pleased to offer and fund Song Sharing, a singing program free to seniors which runs on Thursdays from October –June at 5:15-6:45pm. Song Sharing is part of the Vancouver Parks Board Arts and Health Project. Contact our Programmer, Lorelei, at lorelei.lauten@vancouver .ca for more information or just drop-in to the program to try it out!
