Douglas Park Licensed School Age Care
All of our programs are currently full. To register your child to our School Age Care wait list, visit vanrec.ca and register using the activity number that corresponds with your child’s school: Emily Carr – #611786 or Edith Cavell #611784. Please note that our wait list is very long and unfortunately we cannot predict when a space will become available for your child. Douglas Park strives to offer quality care in an environment that offers children a safe, nurturing place for them to socialize and participate in programmed activities.
We only offer care to children attending Emily Carr Elementary School and Edith Cavell Elementary School. Children are picked up at their school and walked back to the community centre. We only offer fulltime spaces (Mon-Fri).
Current PROGRAM FEES 2026-2027
Aftercare Only (Mon-Fri) – $503/month
Aftercare + Morning Care (Mon-Fri) – $623/month
After Care 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Morning Care 7:30am – 9:00am
Our fees include scheduled school Professional Day coverage and Early Dismissals. Winter Break Camp, Spring Break Camp, District Closure Camp and Summer Camp are all a separate internal priority, but not guaranteed, registration with an additional cost to the monthly fee. Morning Care is only available to those who have an Aftercare space.
- One of our programs runs out of Edith Cavell Elementary, and our other three programs run out of Douglas Park Community Centre.
